Prof. Pietrella’s report

Il prof. Pietrella, Presidente Nazionale di Is.For.D.D., nel suo saluto d’introduzione ai partecipanti della Conferenza Europea, si duole dell’assenza del Presidente Nazionale di ANMIC Alvido Lambrilli in seguito ad una lieve indisposizione, e saluta tutti gli ospiti della Conferenza.

Dopo questo illustra l’attività e gli scopi di IsForDD, promosso da ANMIC e creato allo scopo di integrare e aiutare i disabili nella comunità lavorativa dando loro qualifiche e capacità professionali; infine il prof. Pietrella illustra l’excursus dell’attività della ANMIC per il lavoro ai disabili.

Nel 1956, a Taranto, il Presidente Lambrilli fondò l’associazione LANMIC, divenuta poi ANMIC, incentrata sulla figura dell’invalido civile.

Dallo sviluppo di questa associazione, nel 1996, quaranta anni dopo, è nato l’ISFORDD.

Quindi, il prof. Pietrella, ha approfondito gli argomenti riguardanti i vantaggi e, prima di tutto, gli svantaggi della legge 482 sul lavoro e su le altre leggi create per i disabili e la loro integrazione nel mondo del lavoro.

In questo ambito, i corsi professionali su finanziamento dell’Unione Europea giocano un ruolo primario per l’integrazione dei disabili e, attualmente, sono operativi nelle città di Roma, Milano, Cosenza e Bologna.

Dopo un lungo applauso che ha salutato il lungo lavoro del presidente Lambrilli, il prof. Pietrella ha iniziato la seconda parte del proprio intervento incentrandola sul concetto di "Libertà di esserci" del disabile, e sulla possibilità per tanto dello stesso di essere riconosciuto come cittadino reale.

Il titolo della Conferenza "Oltre lo Sguardo", puntualizzato dal prof. Pietrella, rappresenta la direzione ISFORDD deve seguire con il suo impegno: una migliore integrazione del disabile nel lavoro e nella vita sociale, lo sviluppo dei suoi valori, attraverso una più efficiente legislazione.

Questo importantissimo obiettivo può essere raggiunto solamente lavorando, collaborando e progettando insieme.

Prof. Pietrella, the National President of the IS.FOR.D.D., in his welcome and introductory report to the participants of this European Conference, regrets the absence of the National President of the ANMIC Alvido Lambrilli, due to a sudden illness, and presents one after the other, all the guests of the Conference.

After that, introduces the activity and aims of the IS.FOR.D.D., promoted by the ANMIC and created in order to integrate and support the disabled in the social community through training professional courses; moreover, Mr. Pietrella makes an excursus centred upon the activity of the ANMIC.

In 1956, in Taranto, President Lambrilli founded the LANMIC, then become ANMIC, focused around the figure of the civil disabled.

From the development of this Association, in 1996, after fourty years, the ISFORDD is born.

Then, Prof. Pietrella discusses about the advantages and, above all, the disadvantages of the italian law nr. 482 and on other laws created for the disabled and regarding their working integration.

In this sense, the professional courses of the European Community play a very important role for the integration of the disabled and, at the moment, they are taking place in the IS.FOR.D.D.’s seats of Milano, Roma, Cosenza and Bologna.

After a big applause for the important work of President Lambrilli, Prof. Pietrella begins the second part of his report, focused on the "freedom to be present" of the disabled, on the necessity of their recognition as real citizen.

The title of the Conference "Beyond the glance", according to Prof. Pietrella, represents the direction that the committment of the ISFORDD must follow: a better integration of the disabled in the working and social life, the development of their values, through a more effective legislation.

This important aim can be achieved only working, participating and projecting together.
